1 bag (12 oz) Green Giant™ Fresh Sweet Potatoes 1 bag (12 oz) Green Giant™ Fresh Turnips 2 garlic cloves 12 fresh sage leaves, chopped 2 Tbsp butter 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper
In medium saucepan, place potatoes, turnips and garlic; add water to cover vegetables. Bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat to medium, cook 10-12 minutes or until vegetables are fork-tender. Drain. Return vegetables to pan.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add sage; continue cooking about 1 minute to flavor butter. Do not allow butter to brown.
Pour the sage butter over the vegetables; mash with a potato masher until well blended. Stir in salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
