Snow Peas

The Snow Pea is a legume, more specifically a variety of pea eaten whole in its pod, and is believed to be native to the Mediterranean area. These legumes are sometimes referred to as Chinese pea pods, Chinese pea or “mangetout,” French for ‘eat it all.’ Snow peas are often used in stir-fries, and can also be added raw to salads or other main dishes.
