1 package (12 oz) Green Giant® Fresh Sauced Steam Broccoli and Baby Slim Carrots with Garlic Butter
4 cups cooked bowtie pasta
1 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
4 oz pancetta or bacon, crispy cooked, diced
5 tbsp. shredded Parmesan cheese
3 to 4 Green Giant® Fresh green onions, sliced diagonally
Preparation Directions
1. Prepare Green Giant® Fresh Sauced Steam Vegetables as directed on package. Gently rotate package several times after cooking to distribute sauce evenly over the vegetables. Toss cooked pasta with oil; divide pasta among 5 bowls or dinner plates. Spoon vegetables over pasta. Top each serving with pancetta and 1 tablespoon shredded Parmesan. Sprinkle with green onion. Serve hot.
Variations: Any short pasta may be substituted for bowtie, such as penne, rotini, or small shells. For a spicier flavor, add crushed red pepper flakes to the pasta and oil, and toss to coat. Or add sautéed onions to the pasta mixture. Serve as a meatless entrée or add strips of grilled chicken to each bowl before serving.
